Letter - First Day of School

3rd January 2012,

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Compliments of the Season and Happy New Year!

As it is the start of a new school year, I would like to welcome you and your child/ ward to
his/her new class for 2012, Primary 3.2.

I am Mdm Suzanah Saparwan and I am honoured to be your child’s/ ward’s form teacher. I look forward to a fruitful year working with you and your child / ward. I believe that your child / ward will benefit most when you and I can work as a team. For learning to take place effectively, certain guidelines and class rules have been clearly laid out to your child/ ward on the first day of school and I would greatly Appreciate it if you, dear parents/ guardians, could help ensure that your child/ ward abides by these rules:

be punctual for school
hand in schoolwork on time
be polite and show due respect to all teachers and fellow pupils alike
participate in classroom lessons and school activities actively
be neat and thorough when completing their written or school work
be at their best behaviour both in and outside school

Being in an IT Class, there have been several new ICT initiatives planned for the child/ward. For a start, a blog has been created especially for class 3.2 where interactive learning can be further enhanced for pupils. The blog website can also provide parents/ guardians with the class updates i.e. daily homework and things to bring and happenings  that will be taking or have taken place. The blog site can be found at http://class32aps2011.blogspot.com/.

Alternatively, if there are any concerns pertaining to your child's/ward’s performance in school you can contact me through
1)       Student’s handbook
2)       Email suzanah_saparwan@moe.edu.sg
3)       School phone: 64560340.
Let’s work together for your child's/ward’s future. Together, I believe that we would be able to make your child’s/ ward’s learning in school a pleasant and enjoyable one.

With Regards,

Mdm Suzanah Saparwan
Form Teacher of class 3.2
